About the Store
The Cambridge Studio is a few blocks from Harvard Square, a bustling neighborhood filled with bookstores, restaurants and historic landmarks such as the MIT Chapel by Eero Saarinen and the Carpenter Center by Le Corbusier. True to these inspirations, the Studio displays furniture and accessories in dramatic, innovative contexts. For example, 32 fully realized room vignettes with workspace and living, dining and bedroom solutions help visitors envision how to incorporate modern pieces into a home or office. The Swatch Wall, a matrix of 300 fabric and leather samples representing the many that DWR offers, is both helpful and a beautiful piece of design. A Light Cloud with over a hundred pendant fixtures spans the Studio’s three floors, gloriously highlighting the offerings available. Plus, an assortment of storage options, task chairs and outdoor furniture also is included. The Studio’s friendly, knowledgeable team is on hand to provide a host of complimentary Design Services, including one-on-one consultations, in-home visits, 3-D renderings of your spaces and plenty of help measuring and dreaming.
