Emeco in the Studio.
Tuesday, July 8, 7–9pm
A presentation from Emeco’s Gregg Buchbinder and Dan Fogelson.
Emeco created the 1006 Navy® Chair in 1944, and since then, the company has used the same process to create seating collections that use 80% recycled materials and are virtually indestructible. They’ve managed to stay current by partnering with notable designers like Philippe Starck and Frank Gehry, and most recently, they introduced the Nine-0™ Chair by Ettore Sottsass. This chair was the legendary designer’s last work before he died at the age of 90. Join us to learn more about Emeco’s history and production processes, presented by Gregg Buchbinder and Dan Fogelson. Enter our raffle to win a 1006 Navy Chair. Refreshments will be served.
