A very special evening with modern master Jens Risom.
With a career that has spanned nearly 70 years and is still in the making, Jens Risom made his mark designing one of the first chairs to be manufactured by Knoll®. DWR, in conjunction with the Glass House, is honored to welcome Risom to the Studio for a meet and greet. His designs, which are among the very best designs in mid-century American modernism, will be on display. Risom’s work continues to reflect the Danish approach to modernism, with its emphasis on traditional values and the human need for warmth, beauty and simplicity, and some of his work will be on display in the Studio. Refreshments will be served.
