Derek Chen of Council Design at DWR

If you’re looking for the freshest in design, come by the Studio to meet Derek Chen. His San Francisco-based Council Design encompasses work from local and renowned international designers. Council’s first collection, Optimism, debuted to acclaim at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in May 2007, a mere seven months after Chen founded the design collective. Chen will discuss his vision for the design and manufacturing company, as well as talk about the Council pieces on display at the Studio.
