DWR Champagne Chair Contest™
Now through February 20, 2026, craft a mini modern chair from champagne cork,
and enter for your chance to win up to $2,000 at DWR.
How to enter
Step 1:
Create a one-of-a-kind chair using only the foil, cap, cage, cork, and label from no more than two bottles of champagne, sparkling wine, or sparkling cider.
Step 2:
Snap a photo of your chair using a sheet of white paper as your background, ideally in natural light. (Zoom in so your entire background is white.) Make sure your image is crisp, clear and shows off your chair’s details.
Step 3:
Through February 20, 2026, post a photo of your chair to Instagram using #dwrchampagnechair, and follow and tag @designwithinreach. Or send it to us via direct message on Instagram or email: [email protected].
Design for a cause
For each champagne chair entry, MillerKnoll Foundation will donate $50 (up to $20,000 total) to Cork Collective, a non-profit dedicated to upcycling used corks into eco-friendly products – including neighborhood playground surfaces – benefitting local communities.
Founded in New York City by Rockwell Group, Amorim, Bluewell, and Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, Cork Collective has expanded into a nationwide initiative, partnering with restaurant and hospitality venues to harness the power of circularity and the potential of cork.
Through February 20, all DWR stores are collecting cork donations for Cork Collective.
Pop a bottle of bubbly and donate your used corks at your local DWR.

Entry requirements
· Use any or all materials (except glass), including cork, cage, foil, cap, and label from no more than two (2) bottles of champagne, sparkling wine, or sparkling cider from any brand.
· If you enter by posting a photo of your chair to Instagram, you must follow and tag @designwithinreach as well as #dwrchampagnechair.
· If you enter via email, you must send a photo of your chair to
[email protected] and include your name.
· The chair must measure no more than 4" x 4" x 4".
· Entries accepted starting January 8, 2026. All entries must be received
by 11:59pm ET on February 20, 2026.
· Up to 30 chairs will be selected as finalists. If your chair is selected, you’ll be asked
to send it to DWR. All submitted chairs will become property of DWR.
