Details
The Arrangements Pendant (2017), composed of combinations of squares, circles, and lines, evolved from designer Michael Anastassiades’ fascination with the parallel between lighting and jewelry. “It’s no coincidence that the word ‘pendant’ can mean jewelry worn around the neck and lighting that hangs from a ceiling,” he says. Positioned between fine art and design, his work aims to provoke dialogue, participation, and interaction. Made in Italy.

Michael Anastassiades
Michael Anastassiades’ work, with its focus on proportion and material honesty, celebrates the physical presence and enduring quality of an object. “What makes an object survive time?” he wonders. “Can it become more beautiful as it ages?”
