Poul Henningsen
Trained as an architect, Poul Henningsen is best known for a series of lighting fixtures that resulted from his fascination with the then-new technology of the electric light bulb. In 1925, one of these fixtures won first prize for lighting at the International Exposition of Decorative Arts in Paris. The next year it was put into production by Louis Poulsen & Co.

Recommended cleaning substances:Alcohol, detergent, water max. (122 ºF /50 ºC).
Glossy lacquered surfaces:
The glossy lacquered surfaces should be maintained with a suitable polish in order to prevent deterioration and drying. The polish agent may not contain any sort of abrasives. The polish must be applied according to the supplier’s instructions using a very soft cloth (microfiber). Avoid any contact between the polish and the matte lacquered surfaces of the product.
Scouring powder and similar substances will scratch surfaces.
