As a pioneer of the Knoll Planning Unit, Florence Knoll created what she modestly referred to as the “fill-in pieces that no one else wants to do.” Her Square End Table (1954) has the simple architectural lines and unparalleled construction of all modern classics. It’s topped with glass or solid marble and stands on a polished chrome base. Made in Italy.
  • Topped with polished glass or solid Arabescato or Calacatta marble.

Florence Knoll

One of the most innovative architects and designers of our time, Florence Knoll had a profound influence on more than 50 years of interiors. An early protégée of Eero Saarinen, Florence went on to study architecture at Cranbrook. She is famous for her philosophy of “total design,” and as the director of the Knoll Planning Unit she revolutionized interior space planning.
