The sheltering form of the indoor-outdoor Bluff Chair (2023) by Hlynur Atlason was inspired by the smooth shapes carved into nature by the sea. Exclusive to DWR, this sculptural chair features a surprisingly comfortable scooped seat that cradles the body. “By working carefully with angles and proportions, we’re able to create an experience where you’re no longer aware of the chair when you’re seated,” says the Icelandic-born designer. Bluff is made from a high percentage of recycled post-consumer plastic (the percentage varies by color) and is 100% recyclable. Its warm tones are designed to harmonize with the natural environment and its seat has drainage to minimize pooling. Made in U.S.A.
  • Made from recycled and 100% recyclable polyethylene.
  • Durable and lightweight.
  • Can be used indoors or out.
