Originally designed for Ian Schrager's Hudson Hotel in New York City, the exuberant Hudson Collection (2000) combines the contemporary styling of Philippe Starck with Emeco's classic 1944 naval-ready form and construction. Executed entirely of corrosion-resistant aluminum and finished with Emeco's traditional brushed surface, the design is geared toward easy versatility and low maintenance - both indoors and out. The Hudson Chair is included in the design collection at the MoMA and received the 2000 Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum. Tested for strength and intended to last 150 years, it can be used indoors or out. The Hudson Chair is also available in a shiny finish. Made in U.S.A.
