An ideal slice of simplicity and functionality, the Bread Bag (2006) by Klaus Rat is made of 100% cotton that’s approved for use with food. The top can be folded and unfolded to accommodate breads of different sizes from large loafs to finger buns. The top stays closed using concealed magnets, which not only help keep breads in place but also helps keep them crisp and fresh. Klaus Rat received his degree in industrial engineering from the School of Architecture in Århus, Denmark. He is a three-time recipient of the IF Design award.
