Following the success of Blu Dot's award-winning Chicago Shelving series, the Chicago Media Center (2005) caters to the plasma TV crowd with a functional scale and a sturdy, architecture-inspired structure. Designed to hold flat-screen televisions measuring up to 42" (fit will depend on width of television as well), the media center provides additional storage space for DVD players, VCRs and CD players in the three central compartments. Cords are managed through integrated grommets in the rear panel of the central shelf. Dual flanking storage boxes accommodate books, CDs, DVDs and small objects inside and top of the shelves.
