At DWR, shipping and handling charges are based on the value of your order. But that's only the beginning. In order to meet your unique needs, Design Within Reach now offers three delivery options: Standard, Room of Choice and White Glove.
STANDARD DELIVERY offers delivery right to your front door (if the destination is an apartment or multi-unit building, the order will be delivered inside the entrance to the building). The typical delivery window is 7-10 business days from the day your order is placed. Standard Delivery does not include assembly or unpacking.
ROOM OF CHOICE DELIVERY is available for an extra $100 and offers the same shipping window and services included in our Standard Delivery service, but brought in and placed in your room of choice. We recommend this service to customers in apartments, multi-unit buildings or offices. Room of Choice Delivery does not include opening, assembly or removal of packing materials. It also does not include moving of existing items.
WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY service is available for an average charge of 10% of your total order with a minimum charge of $350. It includes a delivery appointment, inside delivery, assembly and installation in your room of choice and removal of all packing materials. The delivery window for White Glove service is typically 2-3 weeks from the day your order is placed. Due to size, weight or fragility, we recommend the use of White Glove service on select items (noted in their product descriptions). Please call 1.800.944.2233 for a time specific delivery.

* An order is defined as one shipping method selected for delivery to one address. Order value is calculated before tax. For items that are on sale or discounted, the order value is calculated using the original price.
NOTE: In-stock orders ship from our warehouse in Kentucky and typically arrive anywhere in the continental U.S. within 7-10 business days. Deliveries are made Monday-Friday during regular business hours. Please be aware that dropship products (those items that ship directly from our vendors) can take longer; delivery times for these items are noted in their product descriptions. We are happy to provide you with delivery quotations for expedited deliveries as well as orders shipping to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. At this time we are unable to ship to other international locations but are happy to work with you to ship to your own freight forwarder.
EXPEDITED DELIVERY service is available for a percentage of your order value. All expedited in-stock items ordered by 12 noon ET, Monday-Friday (excluding holidays) will ship the same day. Expedited delivery is not available for White Glove deliveries, some over-sized items, product not in stock or items shipping from the manufacturer.
