David Esquivel

David Esquivel’s paintings blur the line between abstract and familiar. “My work has always been about time, about what was here at the beginning,” he says. The American artist combines colorful, geometric-inspired forms that appear to levitate in a post-minimalist landscape as a way of inviting the viewer in, encouraging them to see beyond the elements to float within the world he’s created.
