The colorful Cuppone (2015) is made of mouth-blown borosilicate glass. This eye-catching update of a classical form was designed by Aldo Cibic, one of the early members of Ettore Sottsass' Memphis Group, a community of designers who produced postmodern furniture and objects in the 1980s. Please note that bubbles, streaks, and variations in size and color are a natural result of the handmade production process. Made in Italy.

Born in 1955, he became a founding member of the Memphis movement in 1981 before striking out on his own as an innovator, artist, and professor. Today Cibic explores the dynamic relationship between people and space with Cibicworkshop, a design studio and research center working on projects that enhance community life.
