Møller furniture is made by a company founded in 1944 by Niels Otto Møller, a craftsman who “never compromised on anything,” says his son. Even today the company uses old craft traditions like handwoven seats, which on the Model 62 Armchair (1962) are made from a single 425-foot-long cord. The company hand-selects raw wood from environmentally friendly sources, and the final polish is done by hand. This is an authentic, fully licensed product of J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik. Made in Denmark.
  • Heirloom-quality furniture making tradition.
  • Simple, elegant, timeless design.
  • Oak or walnut frame, hand-polished.
  • Leather or woven paper cord seat.
  • Above-average arm height will not slide under most tabletops.
  • Made in Denmark.

Niels Otto Møller

In 1944, Niels Otto Møller founded J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Denmark. “My father never compromised on anything,” says Niels’ son Jørgen Henrik Møller. “Each design took him five years to complete.” This work ethic is why the Møller collection is relatively small for a company that’s been around for more than 70 years, but that’s what makes Møller so special.
