The Mark Pendant (2023) is made from Murano mouth-blown opal glass using techniques that date back to the Renaissance period. Its delicately colored rim is hand-applied during the blowing process, making each shade unique. The pendant is finished with acrylic and steel fixings. A fabric cable with screw-mounted fittings and an adjustable steel suspension bar ensure it is evenly balanced when hung. Italian-born, London-based designer Martino Gamper originally created the pendant for the Marksman restaurant in East London and its gently diffused illumination will bring the same warmth into home dining and living spaces.
