The Soft Coffee Table, designed by Jens Fager for Muuto, brings modern simplicity to a classic silhouette, introducing an interesting mix of materials with natural wood, colored nanolaminate, laminate, or linoleum on a slender aluminum base. With its softly rounded form, this versatile Scandinavian design can blend seamlessly into any aesthetic. The powder-coated aluminum base is made with at least 97% recycled aluminum, while a subtle groove beneath the table’s surface makes it easy to move. Made in Denmark.

Jens Fager

As Danish Modernism expanded globally in the 1950s and ‘60s, architect Ib Kofod-Larsen became one of the most exciting figures of the movement. A trained cabinetmaker, his furniture is marked by subtle details, organic lines, and a visual lightness. Celebrated pieces include the Penguin Chair and Seal Chair, as well as Module U56, renamed the Elizabeth Chair after Queen Elizabeth II acquired two.
