While designing her new Float Sofa (2023), Sarah Ellison was inspired by 1970s conversation pits – with the goal of “encouraging connection through design,” she says. The result: A welcoming, generously sized seating collection with extra-plush channel tufting, deep seats, and wide sloping armrests for comfort from every angle. High-density foam fills the channels for extra cushioning. Float is upholstered in velvet or bouclé fabric, and Ellison developed "Piccolo," the rich chocolate brown velvet, specifically for this collection. Made in China.
