DWR and Knoll Textiles present 12 limited-edition Knoll® Womb and Saarinen Executive Chairs upholstered in fabrics from the collection and signed by artist Nick Cave. The chairs will be auctioned off to benefit Nick Cave’s foundation, Facility. The foundation provides scholarships and opportunities for young and emerging artists through collaborations with established artists and partnerships with like-minded organizations and institutions.
Renaissance man — Nick Cave is a groundbreaking multimedia artist best known for his multisensory Soundsuits. Inspired by his art installations, Cave’s collection with Knoll Textiles layers pattern and craft techniques to create textiles that are truly a work of art.
