Crafted from polished and lacquered aluminum, the Volume Outdoor Side Table (2024) is both sculptural and functional. New Zealand industrial designer Ted Synnott bent and welded aluminum to shape the medley of curved lines and straight edges, lacquered for a seamless finish. The result is a balanced, highly versatile piece that can be used as a bedside table, side table, stool, or pedestal. Volume’s lacquer-protected surface also makes it easy to clean and maintain whether indoors or outside. Made in Italy.

Ted Boerner
Ted Boerner’s childhood summers in rural Wisconsin were filled with midcentury modernist inspiration, much of which stemmed from his grandfather’s rustic log cabin.
