The Fifty Lounge Chair (2013) takes all the hallmarks of Danish designer Hans Wegner's timeless Flag Halyard chair and literally turns them up. While Flag was almost horizontal, Fifty’s vertical construction makes it perfect for reading, relaxing, and even watching TV. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, its distinctive back and side panels create a feeling of privacy without shutting out conversation. Copenhagen-based designers Dögg & Arnved Design Studio used over 1,000 feet of hand-woven rope on a black steel frame in its construction. Anti-corrosion treated and UV-resistant steel and Oeko-Tex-certified rope with a UV-resistant treatment ensure the lounge chair is built to withstand the elements without sacrificing comfort. Artful yet minimalist, Fifty casts a sculptural profile in living spaces and patios. Made in Italy.
