A modern interpretation of Olle Pira’s 1954 elegant and adaptable structure, Pira Wall Shelving (2022) has been reimagined by architect Anna von Schewen and industrial designer Björn Dahlström using today’s technology and materials. Designed to create a sculptural focal point in a home or office, the wall-mounted system features artfully detailed, incredibly durable aluminum and steel frames paired with warm wood cabinets in solid white oak or walnut. Constructed from interlocking parts, this modular system can be easily configured to fit different spaces and, once assembled, appears to be built as one. Pira’s robust framework is made to meet modern needs while its refined midcentury detailing salutes the past. Weight capacity per shelf: 120 lbs. Per section: 770 lbs. Made in Sweden.
