Though it appears to have been hewn from solid marble, the Plinth Shelf weighs just under 8 pounds. To create this modern piece, expert stone masters carefully select marble with the best composition and veining for Plinth Shelves – each of which has unique markings that make it one of a kind. The marble plates are then precisely cut and attached to an interior frame, resulting in a striking columnal form that’s lightweight enough to hang. Created by Norm Architects for MENU, it reflects the firm’s emphasis on natural materials and refined forms that forgo superfluous embellishment. Made in China.
  • Lightweight marble floating shelf.
  • Hangs vertically or horizontally.
  • Can be used alone or in a grouping.
  • Marble is a natural material and the marbling patterns on each shelf will vary.
